NICE products and services help people at the Base of the Pyramid (BoP) to improve their lives. Our improve the lives of 1 million BoP-customers, especially through improving their skill-levels and access to income. The impact on these direct beneficiaries will have an indirect impact on their 5-10 million children and other family members. In addition some 1,250 staff members will be employed at NICE centers and country organizations, and 250 entrepreneurs are supported in setting up a profitable business.
NICE benefits the environment through its extremely low energy consumption and the use of sustainable energy. With 250 centers, NICE will reduce emissions by 375 tCO2 per annum or 6,500 tCO2 up to 2030 (source: Ecofys).
